Best Lasagna Ev-Ah

I have been craving a *good* lasagna, like one that is intentional in flavor, has tons of hot molten lava stringy cheese. And please, please give me some variety when it comes to the cheese. I'm over boring Mozzarella. I want it to have it all, deep flavor, a little spice, and perfect layers of Ooey-gooey goodness. Lots of authentic italian herbs, and meat!  Afterall, I am a beef-raised Wyoming girl, so give me lots beef. It's what's for dinner.

OK, OK, I'm done with my descriptive writing.
As you drool over your keyboard.

I stumbled upon this recipe from Kirsten over at Comfortably Domestic and she had me at herbed goat cheese.....Mmmmmm. Oh, and I'm sorry Kirsten, I ruined your beautiful recipe and I used ground beef {see my statement above} instead of sweet Italian turkey sausage. I'm sure the turkey sausage is very good we just have a plethora of beef in our freezer.

This lasagna is A-Ma-Zing! I love the fresh Mozzerrella, Asiago, and Parmesan cheese which blended so well with the ricotta and goat cheese, the star in this recipe. It will make you say, hmmm what is so different about this. I like that!
Lots of fresh parlsey and I added fresh basil, because I had some, made this oh so yummy.
My girls even ate it, and they get weird when it comes to a casserole that is all mixed together....do your kids get like that? My girls will eat anything, but combine it in a 9x13 pan melt some cheese over it and they start cringing and gagging, but more of the gagging.

Alright, back to the lasagna....

Kirsten, this scored an "11" on a scale of 1 to 10 and is now my go-to lasagna. If my Hunny can eat seconds and then eat it as a leftover the next day you have acheived nirvana.  Thank you!

Blessings!

Hooray! I'm so glad that everyone ate the lasagna. It's one of the only casserole-ish things that my boys will eat. They also react with dramatic gagging when any of their food actually touches. Never mind that it is all stuff that they snarf down individually.

You made my day!
