Let Me Introduce........

I'm finally back, connected and downloading and all the *good things* that you need to blog. To my dearest friends at my Internet provider, thank you for taking time out of your day to travel 13 miles to fix a sickly woman's Internet and for not flinching as you waded thru the aftermath of a super bowl party and wadded up used tissues. Also, when returning the broken modem, I may or may not have given you the power cord to the satellite dish so thank you again for not laughing at me to my face. I'm sure there was plenty of it behind the scenes back at the shop. You are Awesome!

On another note I finally have a name for this girl....

After many name suggestions from you all, I decided to write them up put em' in a bowl and have my lovely assistant draw a name. You all suggested some very lovely and creative names, thank you so much!

So without further ado....

Lucy

Lucy was suggested by Melissa from Storytime. Thank you Melissa for a beautiful name, it fits "her" perfect! And for everyone else, head on over to Melissa's blog and check out her beautiful photography.

There are some "firsts" to document for you. This 10 month old girl started *scootin* on Saturday. The first thing she scooted toward were the box of tissues. She was pretty happy with herself, and I have to admit after 10 months of not moving I was a pretty proud mama.

First Pony tail. Yes, I document these things. It is a special occasion when one of my girls had enough hair to wrap in a little fountain on top of her head. For the record Lillie did not like it, but my four year old suggested she looked like the youngest girl from the movie Despicable Me. Great family flick if you haven't seen it yet.

I will be off to Denver this weekend for the book signing of The Pioneer Woman's new book, Black High Heels To Tractor Wheels. *SQUEAL*!!!!!

Can you tell, I'm so excited! If you have no idea who she is, Ree Drummond, a.k.a. The Pioneer Woman is a ranch wife, homeschooling mom, blogger and author of a cookbook and her own true life love story. Check out her blog for great recipes and hilarious confessions.

Have a blessed weekend!
