Back to Blogging

I did not, I repeat, DID NOT, fall off of the face of the blogging universe.
I did however, run into many blogging complications over the last week that included my Internet provider being down on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Blogger being down Thursday and Friday. That has left me with today, Saturday to blog, finally!!

Oh the power of technology, and the disruption in our lives it can have.

I wanted to write a meaningful Mothers Day post for Monday but alas the technology just wasn't there to do it.

A few of my favorite M.D. gifts that were made by my sweet girls.......

I love the use of my first name on this Mother's Day card and that Hallie used a "B" and "D" in my name. And I was told the stick figures are her and I, and I love that the feet are B's and D's as well. Hands down my favorite gift I have ever received. Sophie made the puffy heart for me with the help of our babysitter ( thanks Desi)....and I love the idea.

I love handmade gifts for Mother's Day. In fact I still make my own mama a gift for her special day.

One thing that I have to share that Hallie told me this week.

Hallie: Mama, I *love* my Blanket....,But I *love* God more.

Oh, to make my heart swell. If you had the slightest idea how much Hallie still loves her Baby Blanket, your heart would swell too!

A few pictures from the baby girl....

She had her first Sucker this week, and it always amazes me that babies *know* exactly how to hold one, suck on one, and in general eat one. They do it like they were born to eat suckers.

I'm off to make dinner for friends that are coming to tonight....
And if your wondering what I'm makin' it is, this
I have said it before, I'm a beef girl so I will be making the substitute.

Have a Blessed weekend!
