Summer Happenings

We have had a busy couple of weeks. A trip with our Youth Group, a cross-country family visit, camping, County Fair, a carnival and a bee swarm. All this in two weeks time.

Wow, that's a lot of living we've done lately.

Lillie has decided to "try" to walk.

Learning to walk on uneven ground can be kinda tough on a girl.....

She tipped over and ended up with a mouth full of dirt and than she bawled.

And cue the word "Drama."

For the record she still is mastering her walk and prefers to crawl.

We camped in the Big Horn Mountains which are about an hour drive from here. Oh they are wonderful! While everyone suffered back at home with 90 plus temps we were wearing sweatshirts and jeans in 60 and 70 degree weather. Oh, and the heat had to be turned on at night in the camper, 38 degrees is a little cool for this mama.

We stayed at some good friends property and camping always includes staying up late, cooking over an open fire, and eating things that are not allowed on a normal day. Chocolate doughnuts and smores look out here we come.

There was also a great game called "Hole-y Boards." Hallie loved it and she was always up to play and defeat someone, especially her Daddy.

Last week we had Peter's family in town from Washington. This was the first gathering of all the Grand kids together. We have more than doubled the population of Grand kids over the last year and three of these Little's were born within 8 months of each other. Oh we had memories.....

One day I will have a picture of all three of my girls smiling and happy, and there will be butterflies flitting by and the lighting will be perfect, and they will be clean and while wearing their coordinating outfits and will dance for joy that I'm taking their picture....

And then maybe I'm stuck in a fantasy world and someone needs to pinch me and cause me to jolt into reality.
Lillie was NOT into having her picture taken and her cousins just wanted her to stick around and get it over with....

"Levin, let me go....."

She was on the run most of the time.

These "Little's" were great sports and I think we were able to capture some very cute mugs.

We just couldn't resist creating a Punk Rocker baby... could you?

And Uncle Adam wins the "Uncle Of The Year" award for building the girls a "Contraption." They spotted this in the "I Spy" books.

After two hours of building he had this beauty...

The aftermath was this.....and it was amazing!

So I did mention a bee swarm at the beginning and I have pictures to show you. That is one of the craziest things I have ever seen. I will be posting soon!

Praying you are having a blessed summer?
